This rich formula begins with grass-fed and finished beef tallow, valued for its skin-compatible fatty acid profile that helps soften and condition dry skin. Raw, unfiltered honey adds humectant properties that help draw in moisture, while aromatic frankincense provides a warm, grounding scent experience.
We include unprocessed beeswax to help seal in hydration and create a breathable protective layer, leaving skin feeling smooth and cared for. The balm is further enhanced with antioxidant-rich sea buckthorn seed oil and fast-absorbing kukui nut oil, which help support the skin’s natural moisture barrier and leave skin feeling nourished without a greasy finish.
Vitamin E oil is added to help condition the skin and support the freshness of the oils in the formula.
Because this balm contains both honey and oils, we use Ritamulse SCG, a naturally derived emulsifier made from sunflower, coconut, and sugar beet sources. This allows water-based and oil-based ingredients to blend evenly and remain stable.
To ensure product safety and longevity, we also include Geogard ECT, a broad-spectrum preservative approved for use in natural formulations. It is derived from benzyl alcohol (from fruits), salicylic acid (from willow bark), glycerin, and sorbic acid (from berries), and helps protect the product from microbial growth while maintaining a gentle formulation.
